Stevenage midfielder Rob Sinclair has undergone groin surgery.

The 22-year-old has had a 'bony impingement' removed following an injury he sustained at the end of last season.

He is expected to be out for a further six weeks while he completes his rehabilitation.

Sinclair's last game for the club was a 3-3 home draw against Bury on May 7.
