Arsenal are already looking towards January in the hopes of continuing to bolster their squad, and are chasing Liverpool target Eden Hazard, according to the Daily Star.
Hazard has starred for Lille since moving to the senior side in 2007, and has attracted attention from numerous European clubs as a result.
Arsenal showed interest in Hazard during the transfer window, along with Liverpool, but the Gunners were unable to garner a deal for the playmaker, who could be seen as a replacement for Cesc Fabregas.
And while Liverpool have reportedly put Hazard on their wishlist for the January window, Arsenal are hoping to steal the march on their Barclays Premier League rivals with a £28 million bid when the window opens.
Lille being unable to find a replacement for Hazard is believed to be the reason for the club not selling this summer, but with time and preparation on the French outfit's side before January, both Arsenal and Liverpool are on alert to make their moves or risk losing out on the 20-year-old.
