Chelsea defender David Luiz is hoping that Brazilian star Neymar can be tempted to make a move to Stamford Bridge.

The Santos man, who has scored six goals in 10 international appearances, is one of the world's hottest prospects.

The 19-year-old has reportedly interested Real Madrid and Barcelona, however Chelsea are led the race for most of the summer, and Luiz hopes the club can secure a deal for the superstar.

"I would definitely like Neymar in my team but it is up to him to decide where he wants to play" said Luiz.

"But I hope he signs for Chelsea.

"Neymar's getting to know London and he likes it very much. I love it here, too. It's one of the best cities in the world - all I miss is the beach."

Chelsea bolstered their attack this summer with the signing of Romelu Lukaku and winger Juan Mata.
