Karacan hails Robson-Kanu

Reading's Turkish midfielder Jem Karacan has heaped praise on team-mate Hal Robson-Kanu as the winger prepares to take on England with Wales at Wembley.

Karacan was delighted the club secured the services of the skilful attacker for three more years in the summer and reckons Robson-Kanu is destined for great things at the Madejski Stadium.

"I think Hal has proved that he can score goals. We always knew he had that in his locker and he is one of the strongest geezers I've ever come across," he told the Reading Post.

"The transformation in him over the last few years has been brilliant.

"He's strong, quick and powerful.

"Even in training you don't want to be against him because he will give defenders a nightmare.

"It's a brilliant bit of business from this club signing him for another three years as well."
