Chelsea youngsters Josh McEachran and Romelu Lukaku are set to leave the club on loan if they don’t get enough game time at Stamford Bridge this year, according to The Sun.

Both starlets have shown great potential, but with so much competition for places in the Blues’ line up, Andre Villas-Boas is reportedly considering sending the pair out to gain more experience.

The Chelsea manager is said to be waiting until the end of the year to make a decision over the pair, and if both Lukaku and McEachran miss out on getting enough game time, they will be sent to other top-tier clubs.

Lukaku had been linked with a possible loan move to Stoke in the new year, though Chelsea have denied a deal has been agreed. And while npower Championship clubs have reportedly been making enquiries about taking the pair on loan, Villas-Boas insisted that they will only go to another Barclays Premier League club.

Both Lukaku and McEachran look to be set for the bench when Chelsea take on Sunderland on the weekend.
