Park Chu-Young's recent international exploits could mean he will be forced to wait for his Arsenal debut, but the South Korea captain is determined to make his Gunners bow against Swansea.
The north London club take on the Barclays Premier League newcomers at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, which could come too soon for Park.
The former Monaco forward admitted to feeling fatigued after Tuesday's 1-1 draw in Kuwait, with the humid conditions and long distance travel having a severely draining effect.
“I felt really tired, but I appreciate that other players took control of the game well,” he told Ilgan Sports.
Park, though, is determined to give his all for Arsenal as and when the opportunity presents itself.
He added: "I will try to adjust at Arsenal and work hard to play in many games as I can."
Along with Park, Arsene Wenger could hand first Arsenal appearances to Mikel Arteta, Yossi Benayoun, Per Mertesacker and Andre Santos in the weekend's encounter.
Arsenal are still searching for their first league win of the season, and will be desperate to atone for the 8-2 demolition at the hands of Manchester United.
