Walters penalty enough against Reds

Published Add your comment

Liverpool slipped to their first Barclays Premier League defeat of the season as they suffered a 1-0 loss at Stoke.

Jon Walters' 20th-minute penalty after he was fouled by Jamie Carragher proved to be the decider in a game which the visitors dominated but failed to break down the Potters.

The Britannia Stadium is not a happy hunting ground for the Reds, who have taken just two points from their last four visits.
