Macclesfield Town Vs Morecambe, Tue 13 Sep 2011

Macclesfield boss Gary Simpson has no new injury worries but must continue to do without four members of his squad for the visit of Morecambe.

Paul Morgan and Jack Cudworth remain long-term absentees.

Morgan faces another two months out after having a plate inserted to help mend his broken arm removed, while Cudworth who is also a long way from returning following ankle surgery.

Waide Fairhurst is again sidelined because of an ankle injury. He has returned to training and could be fit for Saturday's game against Northampton.

Tom Fisher is making good progress following his knee ligament injury but is still a couple of weeks from fitness.

Arnaud Mendy is available, however, having recovered from the illness that caused him to miss Saturday's game at Cheltenham.

Morecambe boss Jim Bentley is almost certain to name the same side that thumped Crawley 6-0 on Saturday.

That means a second start in four days for skipper Will Haining, who played 60 minutes in that game on his return from injury.

The same goes for 34-year-old striker Jason Price. He made his debut at the weekend after penning a four-month deal at the club earlier this month.

Midfielder Andy Fleming is fit to play but, like Saturday, is unlikely to be able to force himself into matchday contention.

Defender Paul Scott remains the club's only long-term absentee and is not expected to return until December after undergoing knee surgery in the summer.
