Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka has been offered a deal to move to Qatar, according to The Metro.
The French forward has quickly become fourth choice at Stamford Bridge behind the likes of Daniel Sturridge and Fernando Torres, and at 32 is unlikely to break back into the team.
And with his days as a professional numbered, Anelka has been offered a deal to move to Al-Arabi from Chelsea, with his wages in the region of £8.2 million.
The forward has less than 12 months running on his current deal in west London, and is likely top be allowed to leave on a free from Chelsea.
Chelsea can call on Romelu Lukaku and Salomon Kalou in the absence of Anelka.
