Ryan Giggs' 27th Champions League goal helped Manchester United escape with a 1-1 draw from a difficult encounter with Benfica at the Stadium of Light.
The visitors were deservedly behind to Oscar Cardozo's effort midway through the first-half, before Giggs cut in from the right flank three minutes from the break to level the scores.
As he has done so often in his 22 years as a professional, Giggs cut in from the wing and swiftly transferred the ball onto his left foot before rifling home from 20 yards.
