Chelsea winger Florent Malouda is being linked with a move to Bayern Munich.

The French international was courted heavily throughout the summer by a number of Serie 'A' sides, with both Juventus and AC Milan thought to be keen on bringing the 31-year-old to Italy.

However, German magazine Kicker claims Bayern Munich are now showing a 'big' interest in the Chelsea player, who is expected to find first team opportunities at Stamford Bridge hard to come by this season.

The arrival of Juan Mata was tipped to trigger the former Lyon star's exit from Stamford Bridge during the transfer window, but the player continuously reiterated a desire to stay at Chelsea under new manager Andre Villas-Boas.

'AVB' stuck by the left midfielder, but could look to cash-in on the player in January when a potential bidding war stars in earnest for the Chelsea star.
