Torquay United have only been beaten once in Npower League Two this season, but they’ve drawn four of their eight games to the frustration of manager Martin Ling.
“It is frustrating, but I just feel as a team that sometimes a draw will fall on you, but four out of eight is too many, that’s for sure,” he told BBC Devon.
“If you change a couple of those draws into wins and into defeats you’ve got more points than if you draw the four games.”
The Gulls currently sit sixth in the table and face second place Rotherham United on Saturday.
The Millers are four points clear of their seaside opposition, but a win for Torquay would put the side in the automatic promotion mix at the top of the table.
“We do need to concentrate for 90 minutes, perform for 90 minutes and then I think we’re a match for anyone in this league," he concluded.
“If we come off that level then we could be defeated.”
