Sevilla are set to make a move for Giovani Dos Santos in January, with the midfielder desperate to leave Tottenham, according to Talksport.

A deal with the Spanish side fell through before deadline day, leaving Dos Santos particularly upset over the situation.

And while Tottenham reportedly were unable to get a deal over the line for Dos Santos, with the Mexico international saying he desperately wants to leave Spurs, Harry Redknapp is said to be more willing to listen to offers to let go of Dos Santos.

Dos Santos has made only 10 appearances for Tottenham since signing with the north London club in 2008. He has spent loan spells at Ipswich, Galatasaray and Racing Santander, and has now returned to Tottenham where he featured in the Europa League last night.

While Sevilla president Jose Maria Del Nido revealed that the club had made a €5 million offer for Dos Santos, the amount was not enough for Tottenham. The club look to be softening on the fee though.
