John Mousinho is an injury doubt for Stevenage ahead of the visit of Notts County.

The midfielder was forced off with a hamstring problem early in the second half of the 5-1 home victory over Sheffield Wednesday in midweek.

His progress is being monitored and manager Graham Westley will make a late decision over his inclusion.

It will be a blow for Boro if he does not make the match as his performance alongside Michael Bostwick in the middle of the park on Tuesday evening was superb.

Jon Ashton was reinstated in the centre of defence with Mark Roberts, which allowed Bostwick to partner Mousinho.

Phil Edwards, Jennison Myrie-Williams, Chris Beardsley, Josh Walker and Robin Shroot are available should Westley wish to make changes.

Notts County make the trip without the suspended defender Alan Sheehan.

Sheehan collected his fifth yellow card of the season during the 1-1 draw at Exeter in midweek and he will serve a one-match ban. Jude Stirling or teenager Haydn Hollis could come into contention to replace Sheehan.

Transfer-listed defender Jon Harley is back at Meadow Lane after a trial at Australian club Melbourne Victory and he too could come into manager Martin Allen's thinking as a potential deputy for Sheehan.

Veteran striker Lee Hughes could return to the starting line-up after he was given a rest as a substitute on Tuesday night.

Hamza Bencherif, Ishmel Demontagnac, Karl Hawley and Charlie Allen, the manager's son, are also options for the Notts boss.
