Macclesfield's new goalscoring hero Ben Tomlinson believes his new team can go all the way.
After scoring another two goals to help the Silkmen grab three points against Northampton, the 21-year-old livewire striker said: "I've never played in the League before so I can't really make a comparison.
"All I can say is that I've never played against a team that has as much quality as we do at Macc and the spirit in the dressing room is just fantastic."
He added: "There's so much banter flying around it's just great to be in there."
Macclesfield manager Gary Simpson said: "It looks as if I've unearthed another.
"I was delighted that the man he replaced, Emile Sinclair, scored two for Peterborough because the lad really deserved it, but it looks as if Ben and the other strikers we've got can step into his shoes.
"He's enthusiastic, he's eager, I know he's obviously got a lot to learn and I'm sure he's going to do that."
Northampton boss Gary Johnson said: "We can't be too disappointed at the result because in the last 20 minutes we let Macclesfield take the onus.
"They took charge and we simply kept giving the ball away. They play a very direct game and they're going to hurt you with the ball over the top, especially when you keep handing it to them on a plate.
"We seem to have got a very inconsistent group of players and I've got to work out just which ones I should pick from what is a paper-thin squad. Some of them will have to go home, look in the mirror, and asks themselves 'did I do enough?` not only for the team but as an individual."
