Kovacs back with Luton

Published Add your comment

Janos Kovacs has agreed to complete a one-month loan switch from Hereford to Blue Square Bet Premier side and former employers Luton.

The defender, signed from the Hatters last summer, was placed on the transfer list by manager Jamie Pitman at the end of last season but remains at Edgar Street with his deal not due to expire until the end of the current campaign.

Chairman David Keyte revealed at the start of September that both Kovacs and fellow transfer-listed team-mate Sean Canham had each rejected around three moves to interested clubs, including those in the Blue Square Bet Premier.

Kovacs, yet to make a first-team appearance this term, links up with striker Stuart Fleetwood, who completed a surprise switch from Hereford to Kenilworth Road on transfer deadline day for an undisclosed fee.
