Arsenal's Luke Freeman is wanted on loan by Npower League Two side Swindon Town, according to The Sun.

The 19-year-old, who holds the record for the youngster appearance maker in an FA Cup tie, is yet to make a first team appearance for Arsenal since his move from Gillingham in 2008.

After the departure of Leon Clarke, manager Paulo Di Canio is keen to bolster his attacking options, with Arsenal protege Freeman his No.1 target.

Freeman has stared for the Arsenal academy side, scoring four goals last season, including a double against Liverpool.

He spent a brief spell on loan at Yeovil Town in 2010, scoring twice in 13 outings, before injury forced him to return to Arsenal.
