Manchester United are preparing to pay out a record £5 million to its staff as a reward for the club's impressive form of late, according to The Daily Mail.
Having featured in three of the last four Champions League finals, and won four of the last five Premier League titles, United are one of the dominant forces domestically and in Europe.
And such has been their dominance that up to 500 United staff will be rewarded with a 7.9 per cent bonus on their annual salary.
United chief executive David Gill is reportedly in line for a £160,000 bonus, while the likes of chief operating officer Michael Bolingbroke and chief of staff Ed Woodward have also been rewarded.
The club's turnover is coming close to £300 million-a-year and the Glazers are making substantial inroads into United's large debt.
