Plymouth have extended Simon King's loan by a further month.

Defender King has impressed in his three games with the Pilgrims and caretaker manager Carl Fletcher has negotiated an extension with parent club Gillingham.

Fletcher told the club's official website: "He's a good solid defender and he's done well. He has settled in well with the lads and I think he's enjoying playing here."

King will now stay at Home Park until November 5.
