Stevan Jovetic - a reported target for Chelsea and Liverpool - is ready to commit his future to Fiorentina.
The future of the 21-year-old winger has been the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks, and the Viola have been desperate to keep him at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
And, despite catching the eye of both Chelsea and Liverpool, Jovetic is prepared to extend his stay in Florence by signing a new contract.
He said: “I have always thought about Fiorentina, and renewing my contract."
Chelsea have been consistently credited with interest in Jovetic over the past few months, and reports have suggested that Andre Villas-Boas would attempt to bring the midfielder to Stamford Bridge in January.
Liverpool, meanwhile, were keen to bring Jovetic to Anfield in early summer - something the Montenegrin's agent confirmed.
"I can confirm that Liverpool have been interested recently and are following him - but I have received no call from England," said Fali Ramadani.
Whether or not a formal offer was made by Liverpool remains to be seen, but the Reds are expected to dip into the transfer market again in the New Year.
