Tottenham Hotspur striker target Alvaro Negredo could leave Sevilla in January, according to reports.
The Spanish international was linked with a move to White Hart Lane this summer, but Spurs were unable to offer a fee close to the asking price of the La Liga outfit.
Harry Redknapp remains an admirer of the player though, with Tottenham Hotspur one of a handful of clubs believed to have sent scouts to watch the player in action after a blistering start to the domestic campaign in Spain.
TalkSPORT reports that AC Milan are also monitoring the player closely, and could provide strong competition to Spurs should they make their move for the player in the New Year.
Redknapp added Emmanuel Adebayor to the Tottenham Hotspur ranks this summer, but with Peter Crouch leaving and doubts remaining over the future of Roman Pavlyuchenko, another striker remains on the north London club's agenda.
And Negredo now appears to be a realistic possibility after representative Alejandro Camano confirmed his future isn't definitely lying in Seville.
"He has a contract until 2013. Sevilla wants to renew it but that does not mean his future is indeed in Seville."
It's unclear how much Spurs would have to pay to tempt Los Rojiblancos into selling their star striker.
