Arsenal are reportedly keeping tabs on Bastia midfielder Sadio Diallo.
According to The Sun, the north London club have sent representatives to run the rule of the Guinea international, who is rated at £2 million.
Arsene Wenger is said to have asked former Arsenal defender Gilles Grimandi to compile a report on the 20-year-old with a view to a potential January bid.
Diallo has scored 10 goals in 35 appearances for his current employers, and is tied to the Stade Armand Cesari for another three years.
The youngster is likely to be one of a number of targets for Arsenal in the New Year as Wenger looks to further reinforce his squad.
The Arsenal boss added the likes of Mikel Arteta and Per Mertesacker to his ranks prior to the close of the summer deadline, but is expected to make further additions when the transfer window reopens.
