Northampton goalkeeper Paul Walker has joined Brackley Town on a month's loan.

The 19-year-old, who made his first-team debut at Stockport last season, has impressed boss Gary Johnson in training.

However, the Cobblers boss wants to see him play regular first-team football.

"Paul has done fantastically well in training over the last few weeks," said Johnson.

"We have three keepers at the club at the moment and, while Paul can do all the training in the world, he will benefit hugely from playing regular first-team football for a month or two.

"Brackley have a vacancy in goal, and I am sure this move will be good for all parties."
