Former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti received an offer from both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur after leaving Stamford Bridge, according to Goal.com.
The Italian boss was sacked as manager of The Blues after failing to win the Barclays Premier League, and reach the Champions League final.
But after being replaced as manager by Andre Villas-Boas, Ancelotti was approached by Arsenal and Tottenham, to become a scout.
"At the end of last season, Carlo was approached by Arsenal and Tottenham," a friend of Ancelotti said.
"There was dialogue and he would have accepted either of them if they had made a concrete offer.
" However, the friend added to Goal: "Arsenal and Tottenham did not pursue their interest."
