Real Madrid defender Raul Albiol has reacted to speculation that Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in his signature by insisting he's happy in the Spanish capital.
The 26-year-old's appearances have been few and far between this season, his first coming during the club's 6-2 victory over Rayo Vallecano last weekend.
However, despite him limited opportunities, Albiol is ready to fight for his place, amid interest from Arsenal and Liverpool.
"Nobody has told me I will leave," he said. "I want to work hard to help the team in any way I can. We have to work hard and stick together because we know the season is very tough.
"I'm happy to be playing again and because we won. I will just try to participate and help any way I can."
With Albiol being left out of Madrid's first four games of the season, reports had emerged that Arsenal and Liverpool were keeping tabs on the defender, as they prepared a bid during the January transfer window.
Arsenal's defensive problems haven't improved despite the signing of Per Mertesacker, while injury to Daniel Agger and Jamie Carragher's loss of form could see Liverpool venture into the market once more.
