Shakers secure Carrington switch

Bury have bolstered their options in midfield by acquiring Mark Carrington on a short-term non-contract deal, with a view to a permanent deal being offered later, subject to international clearance.

The former Crewe and MK Dons midfielder, 24, was unattached following his release from Scottish Premier League club Hamilton at the end of last season.

Carrington has been on trial with the Shakers for the last three weeks, and joins Richie Barker's squad until the end of October.
