Ekim lands Bees deal

Brentford have handed a one-year contract to youngster Josh Ekim.

The 19-year-old midfielder has been on trial at Griffin Park for the last month after impressing while playing for the Nike Academy against the Bees' reserves.

"Josh played really well in that game against us," youth chief Ose Aibangee told the club's official website.

"After a few weeks' training we have signed him because we think he could play in our first team in the future."
