Harry Arter is being linked with a quartet of Npower Championship clubs, despite signing a new deal with Bournmouth.

The midfielder has been one shining light in the midst of a poor start to the season for The Cherries, and such has been his form he was offered a new three-year deal at the club.

But rumours of a move to the Championship, with Brighton & Hove Albion, Cardiff City, Crystal Palace and Watford, those linked with the 21-year-old, Arter says he knows nothing of the interest.

"I haven't heard anything and it doesn't interest me," he told the Daily Echo.

"I signed a long-term deal here and I want to repay the club for giving me the chance to come out of non-league. I never heard anything about it."

The sale of the club's best player during the summer, and the lack of reinvestment has frustrated some supporters who saw Bournemouth go within a penalty shoot-out of the League One play-off final last season to 20th in the division.
