Aston Villa are reportedly tracking OFK Beograd striker Nemanja Milic as Alex McLeish makes early plans for the January transfer window.
According to The Mirror, the 21-year-old could be available to Villa for a cut-price deal in the New Year before he becomes a free agent in the summer.
A Serbia under-21 international, Milic has netted 12 times in almost 70 games for Beograd and is understood to have caught the attention of McLeish.
The Villa boss is said to be keen to reinforce his forward ranks with the transfer window reopens in order to provide capable cover for Darren Bent and Gabriel Agbonlahor.
The latter has thrived since the arrival of McLeish at Villa Park - netting four times in seven league appearances so far this season.
Agbonlahor's recent form has even seen the 24-year-old likened to Cristiano Ronaldo by Villa captain Stiliyan Petrov.
"People talk about Ronaldo, but when you look at the assets of Gabby, you can put him in the same bracket," Petrov told the Daily Star.
"I have always said to him, 'You don't know how good you are and the ability you have'. He can take this Premier League by storm. Not many people have what he's got."
