Former Barcelona midfielder Deco believes Chelsea target Neymar would thrive if he moved to the Camp Nou.
Neymar is arguably the most sought-after player on the plant at this moment in time, and has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
Chelsea and Barcelona have both been touted as potential suitors for the 19-year-old Santos forward, who has scored seven times in 13 appearances for Brazil.
And Deco - who has encountered Neymar at Fluminense - feels that Barca would be an ideal place for the youngster to develop his career.
"If Neymar asked me about Barca, I'd explain my experiences and say that he can be happy in Barcelona, but we have not talked about it," said the former Chelsea playmaker.
"Neymar is a great player. Has a whole career ahead him and is sure to be one of the greats of football. Only time will tell if he reaches the level of Messi."
Deco made over 50 appearances for Chelsea after moving to Stamford Bridge from Barca for £8 million in 2008.
The former Portugal international won the Barclays Premier League and two FA Cups during his time as a Chelsea player.
