Manchester United have reportedly identified Benfica winger Nico Gaitan as a potential January acquisition.
According to talkSPORT, the Barclays Premier League champions are keeping tabs on the Argentina international, who is also a target for a number of other European clubs.
But despite Sir Alex Ferguson being keen to bring Gaitan to Old Trafford, the 23-year-old's agent insists his client is happy to remain at the Estádio da Luz.
"Gaitan still has much more to give at Benfica," Jose Iribarren, told O Jogo. "He is doing a great job and it is normal that foreign clubs are following him but he is currently happy where he is."
Should Gaitan eventually join United, then he would face plenty of competition for a place in Ferguson's starting XI.
The United boss already has Luis Nani, Ashley Young, Antonio Valencia and Park Ji-Sung to call upon when it comes to wide midfield positions.
Gaitan, meanwhile, featured for Benfica in last month's 1-1 draw with United in Lisbon in the Champions League.
