Paul Tisdale has rejected reports he has been contacted by Nottingham Forest regarding the club's vacant managerial position.
Tisdale has been mentioned frequently as a potential successor to Steve McClaren, who resigned from his post at the City Ground on Sunday, but the Exeter boss stressed that the suggestions are purely speculation.
"Have I (been linked with the Forest job)? There has been no contact," he told the Express and Echo.
"I have been linked to other clubs before and there has been nothing in it, so what can I do?"
The former Southampton midfielder is no stranger to the rumour mill, having been linked to similar positions at Swansea, Southampton and Swindon over the past 18 months.
