Zeljko Brkic has confirmed that Tottenham are hoping to sign him in the January transfer window, in a bid to boost their goalkeeping options.
Harry Redknapp has long been interested in the 25-year-old, who is currently on loan at Siena from Udinese.
And Brkic insists that while he is concentrating on doing well for his club at the moment, come January, he will see what Tottenham can offer.
"I know this is true but I do not want to create any delusions or extra pressure for myself," Brkic told Serbian newspaper Sport when asked about Tottenham’s interest.
"Now I only want to think about Siena and if anything happens with Spurs we will see."
Tottenham look set to sell Heurelho Gomes in the January window, and Brkic will be an apt replacement for the outgoing stopper.
