Liverpool starlet tipped for Anfield exit

Blackpool are reportedly hopeful Liverpool defender Danny Wilson can seal a loan move to Bloomfield Road.

The Seasiders have been frequently linked with a move for the 19-year-old in recent weeks and, according to The Mirror, Ian Holloway is still keen to broker an agreement.

Liverpool starlet Jonjo Shelvey has already joined Blackpool for the season and has impressed during his short time away from Anfield.

The 19-year-old midfielder has made only one appearance for Holloway's side, but was instrumental in a 5-0 win over Bristol City, while he also netted a free-kick.

Wilson, meanwhile, is looking to leave Merseyside in order to gain some regular first-team experience with the hope of regaining a place in the senior Scotland squad.

The young defender has made only nine appearances for Liverpool since his move from Rangers in 2010 and Kenny Dalglish is said to be happy to allow Wilson to further his education elsewhere for the time being.

Liverpool and Blackpool still maintain a good relationship following the sale of Charlie Adam in the summer, and Wilson could be set to travel in the opposite direction.
