Liverpool are poised to hand a second trial to AGF Aarhus teenager Michael Zacho reports

The 14-year-old Danish starlet spent last week on Merseyside where he was given the opportunity to showcase his talent, and after impressing the club's coaches he will be invited back to try and earn a move to the Barclays Premier League.

AGF sports director Brian Steen Nielsen was full of praise for Liverpool, and in particular manager Kenny Dalglish for the way he has handled the situation, crediting the Reds' professional approach to proceedings.

"It has been a great experience, not just for Michael, but also for me," he told the club's official website.

"Liverpool have been very professional throughout, but still down to earth. It has been exciting to see how Liverpool run their academy."

Since Dalglish's return to Anfield, the club has placed an emphasis on youth development, and having promoted the likes of John Flanagan and Martin Kelly over the past twelve months, the Reds boss is keen to protect the long-term future of Liverpool football club.
