We are running ‘Power Play Race Day’ this Saturday (15th October) between 12.00-22.00.

It is a time specific horse racing betting competition where customers win and lose Power Points for every correct bet selection they make in the period.

The player with the most points at the end will then receive a bonus of 5x their winnings in the period up to £5k. 2nd place will receive 3 x winnings up to £2k and 3rd will receive double their winnings up to £1k.

The only bets which count towards your points score are race winner horse racing bets. The each/way part of a racing bet will not count towards your score (although the winning part will). Forcast, tricast, matchbets and virtual will not count. Bets can be on UK, Irish and South African racing.

Scoring examples:

Bet on Deacon Blues to win the Sprint Stakes: if he wins you earn + 1 point, if he fails to win you lose -1 point

Bet on Deacon Blues each way in the Sprint Stakes: if he wins you earn + 1 point, if he places you lose -1 point, and if he fails to place you lose -1 point.

NB: Points are awarded for correct bet selections not correct bets, which means you can earn points on multiples even if the bet does not win. Example:

Bet on Deacon Blues to win the Sprint Stakes AND Carlton House to win the Champion Stakes AND Opinion Poll to win Long Distance Cup.

If all three win you earn + 3 points

If two win and one loses you earn +1 point (calculated by 2 wins – 1 loss)

If one wins and the other two lose you earn -1 point (calculated by 1 win – 2 losses)

If all three lose you earn -3 points
