Arsenal target Juan Manuel Vargas could reportedly leave Fiorentina in January after being branded 'unprofessional' by manager Sinisa Mihajlovic.
Vargas was left out of the Viola's most recent squad after he turned up late for training following a late night drinking session.
"We talked about it when he returned from international duty and I left him out of the squad because he was unprofessional," said Mihajlovic.
"The rules apply to him just like everyone else."
According to talkSPORT, Arsene Wenger has instructed his Italian based scouts to keep an eye on the £13 million-rated Peruvian winger, who is 'set to quit' Fiorentina in the New Year.
Arsenal have been linked with Vargas for some time as Wenger begins to identify potential targets for the winter transfer window.
Despite bringing Mikel Arteta and Yossi Benayoun to the Emirates Stadium during the summer, the Arsenal boss is expected to sign further midfielder reinforcements in January, of which Vargas could be one.
