Reported Arsenal and Tottenham target Samir Handanovic will not be allowed to leave Udinese for less than £17 million, it has been claimed.

The 27-year-old is considered to be one of the finest goalkeepers in Serie A and has been attracting plenty of interest in recent months.

According to talkSPORT, both Arsenal and Spurs are tracking the Slovenian but Udinese have placed a hefty price tag on their No.1 shot-stopper.

Handavovic has been linked with Arsenal and Spurs for a number of months, but both clubs are seemingly settled with their current choice of gloveman.

Wojciech Szczesny has firmly established himself as Arsene Wenger's first choice 'keeper and continues to impress for Arsenal.

So much so, in fact, the Pole is said to be a long-term target for European champions Barcelona .

Spurs, meanwhile, signed veteran custodian Brad Friedel during the summer in order to replace out-of-favour Brazilian Heurelho Gomes.

Friedel signed a two-year contract with Spurs and will seemingly end his playing career at White Hart Lane.
