CSKA Moscow striker Seydou Doumbia has revealed a admiration for Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp amid interest from the north Londoners.
The 23-year-old has scored 16 goals this season in the Russian capital and has been linked with a move to England.
And the forward has opened up the possibility of a move still coming off after revealing he admires Tottenham boss Redknapp.
"I am very interested in playing in the English league. Harry Redknapp is a coach African players love, so who knows," he said.
"It is only paper talk at the moment. I want to make a name for myself in the Russian league and in the Champions League as well, the rest will come once I am playing very well.
"My dream is to play in the Premier League, everyone knows that."
Tottenham had been linked with a swap deal for Doumbia, rated at £30 million, with Roman Pavlyuchenko going the other way in the deal.
Manchester City are also interested in a move for Doumbia, however the African star's latest admission may pave the way for a move to Tottenham.
