David Beckham is a 50/50 chance of leaving LA Galaxy when the MLS season comes to an end, according to boss Bruce Arena.

Beckham’s five year deal with the American club comes to an end this season, and while the side are hopeful of keeping the England international on board, Beckham has revealed he will put his family’s wishes first as well as his ambitions to play in the GB team in next year’s Olympics when deciding his future.

That would put Tottenham high on the list of destinations for Beckham, with Spurs trying to sign the superstar in January for a loan deal, which fell through due to insurance problems.

Tottenham are currently fifth in the Barclays Premier League table, and have made their intentions clear to push for a top four position and qualify for the Champions League once more.

And should Tottenham continue to boast top form in the top-tier, despite other clubs QPR and Pars St Germain expressing interest, Spurs will no doubt be favourites to land Backham if his family want to settle back in England.
