Chelsea winner hints at unnamed club return

Former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has again stated he wishes to return to the Barclays Premier League.

The Italian was sacked by The Blues following a trophy-less season at Stamford Bridge, which has preceded a league and cup double the season before.

But Ancelotti, instead of being put off by his sacking from Chelsea, is already targeting a return to English football.

"The Premier League is the best competition in Europe, so I would like to stay here if it is possible," he said.

"I don't want to name names because these teams have managers, but I would like to manage a team that has ambition and I want to wait and see what happens this season.

"I would like Italian football to be the best, but this is not the truth at the moment. I would like to stay here if it's possible to find another club - I love the atmosphere."

Ancelotti was sacked the day after the club's last game of the season, a defeat away at Everton, but the former AC Milan manager doesn't hold grudges against Chelsea.

"Obviously you have to win because Chelsea is built to win."
