Queens Park Rangers playmaker Adel Taarabt is still looking for a move away from West-London.

The Moroccan midfielder has been in disappointing form for Rangers this season and stormed off against Chelsea on Sunday after been substituted.

The 22-year-old stared for QPR in their promotion last season, however, has stated on two occasions he wishes to leave the club, with Arsenal and Chelea both mentioned as possible destinations, with a move to PSG having broken down earlier this summer.

"He [Leonardo] called Briatore, but the first thing he said was, 'OK, but there is Adel's temper'. That is just an excuse from Leonardo not to sign me because he had other priorities," Taarabt said.

"The Qatar officials told me 'do another great six months and in January we will be back'."

In June Taarabt said that there has been contact from elsewhere in the Premier League, and that he would prefer to stay in London given the option.

"I’ve had contact with Arsenal and Chelsea, but it’s a bit of a mess," he said.

"Arsenal haven’t yet sold Fabregas, and Chelsea don’t have a manager, but I’d like to stay in London. It’s the best city in the world."
