Wesley Sneijder has admitted that Inter Milan are targeting PSV midfielder Kevin Strootman, with the Serie A side planning on making a swoop for the star in January.
"Marco Branca wanted to know how I feel about Kevin. It's not the first time that the club have asked me my opinion,” Sneijder said.
“Quality is always more than welcome and Kevin has plenty of quality.”
Sneijder underwent a very unsettling transfer window in the summer, with Manchester United heavily linked to the playmaker.
But United had problem’s with Sneijder’s wage demands, and while inter Milan claimed that talks took place with United over the possible purchase of the Dutchman, the deal fell through.
Since the transfer window closed, Sneijder has continually pledged his commitment to the Serie A side, but a January move could be on the cards if United decide they need to bolster their midfield.
