Levante striker Arouna Kone has confirmed he would hold talks with Celtic if they were interested in his services, reports skysports.com.
The 27-year-old Ivorian international has attracted interest from a number of clubs, following his impressive start to the La Liga season.
Kone is currently on a season-long loan having fallen down the pecking order at Sevilla, and confirmed he is enjoying regular first-team football.
"I'm delighted with my start to the season so far," he told skysports.com. "I'm returning to my best form and level. I really appreciate that.
"My contract will finish at the end of the season so it is normal for clubs to show interest."
Bhoys boss Neil Lennon is always on the lookout for new players to improve his Celtic Park squad - and will be encouraged by Kone's response to reported interest from Parkhead.
"Celtic is a magnificent club," he added. "I'd be interested in talking to them if they want me to be honest.
"At the moment I want to finish the year strongly and try to earn a new contract either with Sevilla or somewhere else like Levante."
