Arsenal forward Gervinho believes former Lille teammate Eden Hazard would thrive should he make a switch to the Barclays Premier League.
The Belgian playmaker is one of the finest young talents currently operating in European football and, thus, is being courted by some of the continent's most high-profile clubs.
Real Madrid and Inter Milan have been credited with interest in the 20-year-old, while Arsenal and Liverpool are also known to be keen.
Gervinho, meanwhile, signed for Arsenal in July for £10.7 million, having formed a fruitful partnership with Hazard at the Stade Lille-Metropole.
And, says the Ivory Coast international - who has made 12 appearances for the Gunners - Hazard has all the attributes to make an impact in England.
“Hazard is a young player with enormous quality," he told French radio RMC Sports.
“If he has decided to leave, it is normal for clubs to be interested, as he has the level to triumph in a big league like England.
“Eden has learnt a lot at Lille, and I believe he could succeed abroad. Where he goes is up to the clubs. But it will be a big operation.”
