Romelu Lukaku’s agent Roger Henrotay insists that the starlet is staying at Chelsea this January, despite transfer speculation surrounding a possible loan move to Malaga or Stoke.

Lukaku made the move to Stamford Bridge last summer, but with Fernando Torres, Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka all ahead of the 18-year-old for a spot in the starting line-up, the 18-year-old was thought to be hoping that he could head elsewhere on a temporary basis.

But while Chelsea have continually said that Lukaku is staying in London, Henrotay insisted that Lukaku is happy fighting for his place with the Blues.

"The future of Romelu is clear," Henrotay told calciomercato.it. "He doesn't move in January but will stay definitely in London.

"The rumours about Malaga and Stoke City? No, Romelu is very happy at Chelsea and won't change jersey.

"What about the interest of AC Milan? I'm sorry, but there are no chances for his passage to the Rossoneri."

Chelsea are hoping that Lukaku can live up to his reputation of being a future Didier Drogba, and the side have been playing the youngster in Cup matches to give him the chance to shine on one of football’s biggest stages.
