Wolves are reportedly considering a January bid for Leeds captain Jonny Howson.
According to the Daily Express, Mick McCarthy has identified the 23-year-old as a potential winter transfer window acquisition.
Despite his tender years, Howson has already registered over 200 appearances for Leeds, having graduated through the youth ranks at Elland Road.
A popular figure among the Leeds fans, Howson was voted the club's Young Player Of The Year award for the 2010-11 season and was named skipper in the summer.
He has since been linked with a move to the Barclays Premier League and, along with Wolves, West Brom have also been credited with interest in the past.
Leeds, though, will be at loathe to let him leave Elland Road, although a hefty offer may be too good to resist for the cash-strapped club.
Meanwhile, Leeds boss Simon Grayson is reported to be planning a loan move for Manchester United goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak.
