Reds held by brave Swans

Liverpool and Swansea City played out an entertaining goalless draw at Anfield.

Glen Johnson could have snatched a late winner by saw Michel Vorm brilliant keep out his volley.

Andy Carroll hit the bar early on, but Mark Gower could have produced the shock of the season so far, but squandered a great late chance.

Both sides were unfortunate not to be awarded penalties but with chances aplenty, both will feel they should have taken home all three points.

The draw keeps The Reds in sixth in the Barclays Premier League, while Swansea will feel content with their start, having picked up 13 points from their first 10 games.
