Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov could be on his way to Galatasaray after president Unal Aysal confirmed he was one of many targets for the Turkish side.
The 30-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and given his limited appearances this season is expected to be offloaded this summer.
And Galatasaray could be a potential destination for the out-of-favour United striker.
"We're not just looking at Berbatov: we're interested in a number of players," he said.
"Yes, we're thinking of forwards, but now is far too early.
"We can only get in contact and decide at the end of December, when the time comes. We have four or five players players in mind.
"But we can't say that we want to buy any player because we have not decided yet."
United will be hoping they can sell Berbatov in the January transfer window if they want to recoup some of the £30 million they paid for the Bulgarian in 2008.
The form of Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck and Javier Hernandez has led to Berbatov being left out in the cold at United.
