Chelsea winger Juan Mata has tipped Josh McEachran to make an impact at international level.

The 23-year-old Spaniard has been named in Vicente del Bosque's strong-looking side to face England at Wembley this weekend, with former Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas also set to make a return to the capital with the World and European champions.

For Mata, it will provide the player with an opportunity to test himself against teammates John Terry and Frank Lampard in a competitive format, and it's a challenge the former Valencia star is looking for.

"I have already joked about the game with Lampard and Terry and we’ll do it more often as the game gets closer," Mata told his official YouTube channel.

"For them it’s quite an incentive to play against the world champions and for us to play against England in their home. I have not been to the old or new Wembley. The new one is really nice and a game against England on the mythical pitch, I’m sure it will be a great clash.

"There are a few players that I didn’t know very well but I have played against them, like Ashley Young from Manchester United he’s quite fast and incisive on the left wing. From my team, [Josh] McEachran is a really good left-footed player with many skills. I’m sure he will earn an England cap soon."

On his time in the English capital, Mata revealed he's settled into London life quickly with the help of his capital.

He also endured the classic welcome bestowed on new Blues players, singing his 'welcome' song on the first away trip of the season along with Andre Villas-Boas' other new signings.

"Always in the first away trip of the season the new people get on a chair and sing a song in front of the rest of the team. On the Sunderland trip it was Oriol Romeu, [Romelu] Lukaku, Raul Meireles and I who had to sing," he continued.

"I sang an easy song to follow by clapping hands with the Macarena, and they all did it!

"[John Terry is] the captain and he gave us newcomers his phone number to call him if we needed anything – whatever it was, houses, cars, he would talk to us.

"I haven’t gone shopping yet, but I have found a couple of Spanish restaurants with nice food. I normally go once a week so as not to forget the good things!"
